Scoil Mhuire parents and guardians play an integral role in the development of our school. We encourage regular appointed meetings and welcome interaction to foster strong relationships. We understand the shared responsibility of parents and teachers when it comes to progression in learning.

The Parents' Council plays a critical role in providing a structure through which the parents/guardians of children attending Scoil Mhuire Junior School can work together for the best possible education for their children. The parents’ council works with the students, principal, teachers and management to build an effective partnership between home and school.

Meeting once monthly with Scoil Mhuire Junior School management, the Parents’ Council discusses a range of important topics pertaining to the children’s education and development. They also contribute to day-to-day activities within the school, help at important occasions, organise social activities and arrange specialist talks, thus ensuring the integration of all parents into the school community. The Parents’ Council also help address school needs through fund-raising.

Members are elected to Parents Council at the beginning of each academic year.
