2nd Class Visual Art

2nd class learned about Henri Matisse and his 'painting with scissors' technique. They used this inspiration to create fruit and vegetable collages in the style of Matisse.

Second class learned all about warm and cool colours. They used their new knowledge to create beautiful Autumn leaves using oil pastel resist and watercolours.

We also learned about the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and were inspired to paint some polka dot pumpkins based on her work.

Finally, we also made some chromatography bats using coffee filters, markers and clothes pegs.
