Butterflies in 1st and 2nd Classes

1st and 2nd Class got butterfly pupae to take care of and observe.

It was very exciting and a bit hard to believe anything nice was going to come out.

Then they did! And 2nd Class had the joy of releasing the beautiful, delicate winged creatures onto our flowers in our lovely courtyard garden.

The girls completed wonderful writing projects on the whole process - from the butterfly’s point of view.

What a brilliant science class!
