Chess Tournament

At the end of our first year of Chess Club, Brian our coach organised a tournament with Togher Girls National School, where he also coaches chess.

Our team organised the room and had snacks ready for the end of the tournament.

It was fantastic - you could have heard a pin drop the players were so concentrated on their game. Strict etiquette was observed and everyone participating really enjoyed it.

A rematch is planned in the coming year.
