Discover Cork Schools' Heritage Project 2021

This is the second year that the girls in 5th class have participated in this

The entire class took part, entering individually or in groups. We are delighted with the results which have just been published - Eloise received third place in the Primary Individual category for her project on Spike Island.

In the Primary Group category, Juliet and Lauren were second for their project on Nano Nagle. Chloe, Ruby Mae, Ava and Ruth took third place in the same category for their project on the Royal Cork Yacht Club.

There were also several special category awards for areas such as film, transport, sport and community. In this section, Katie D. received first place for Best Living Through History Project for her work entitled "My Experience of Daily Life During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Cork".
