First Holy Communion 2021

The girls in 3rd Class made their First Holy Communion at 12 o’clock mass on Sunday 3 October in St Patrick’s Church with Fr Jilson Kokkandathil.

It was a wonderful ceremony. The girls knew exactly what to do and were perfect. They did the readings during the mass and really excelled, reading and speaking clearly and confidently even though the passages were complex and difficult.

Niamh Quigley accompanied our singer and musicians who made us feel very proud.

Our congratulations to the girls in particular but also to their teachers for making it all go so smoothly.

And it was a beautiful day into the bargain!

On Wednesday the Holy Communion Class wore their dresses in to school so that everyone could see them.
