Grandparents’ Day

Monday 24 October was hotly anticipated in the school. The girls’ excitement about having grandparents visiting our classrooms was almost overwhelming.

The Parents’ Council prepared the Assembly Room, converting it into CAFÉ SMJS complete with vases of flowers on each table. They had tea, coffee, water and more cakes and biscuits than you could shake a stick at - mostly home baked.

Each class had been preparing over the previous weeks. They decorated their classrooms, prepared questions to ask and work to show their grandparents.
