Introduction to Chess

Last Tuesday, the Chess teacher Brian Nolan came in to give the girls in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Class an introduction to the game.

The girls were delighted and really enjoyed 20min of learning, playing or watching the game in action.

SMJS Chess Club now takes place on Tuesdays from 2.30-3.30pm.

Mr Nolan is confident that we have lots of excellent players in the schoo. and is looking forward to developing the club over the next 10 weeks.
