School Uniform

4ORM operates an appointments system. Please call beforehand to arrange a time. If parents of Scoil Mhuire pupils are planning to purchase uniform items, 4ORM looks forward to facilitating them particularly during the month of June each year. Full uniforms as prescribed must be worn at all times. The uniform consists of a school gym slip/pinafore, blouse, jumper, blazer and anorak. Substitutes from shops in town will not be tolerated.

Shoes should be navy, black or brown and flat heeled. For safety reasons, light slip-on shoes are not allowed. Trainers/runners are only permitted to be worn with the track suit. Boots or canvas shoes should not be worn.

On P.E. days the School Track suit, white polo shirt, and WHITE runners should be worn. The track suit can only be worn on other days after consultation with the class teacher.

Trainers/runners are only permitted to be worn with the school tracksuit.

In cold weather, hats and scarves should be navy/white.

For safety reasons the only earrings permitted are studs, no jewellery should be worn at any time.

Hair should be tied back/plaited at all times. Hair bands and other accessories should be white or blue.

If the uniform needs to be washed please do so on a Friday. Pupils found out of uniform will be reprimanded.

PARENTS MUST ENSURE THAT ALL GARMENTS ARE LABELLED IN AN OBVIOUS PLACE WITH THE CHILD’S FULL NAME
