SMC Fundraising Lunch - 5 March 2023

The annual SMC fundraising lunch in Maryborough Hotel had not happened for a number of years during the pandemic so there was great excitement around it this year.

It was very well attended with more than 250 in the huge banqueting room at the Maryborough. There were tables of parents of current pupils and numerous gatherings of past pupils. The company was wonderful and food extremely good.

Eimear Coughlan McCarthy organised the whole event and had lined up an impressive list of sponsors. There were numerous spot prizes and raffle prizes which all added to the enjoyment.

The Junior School Choir were invited to sing for the occasion and we must thank the parents of those children who were kind enough to arrange for their children to attend on that Sunday.

Of course they sang beautifully and were rapturously received.
