AIJS Photography Competition

The Association of Independent Junior Schools was set up to represent the interests and development of the private primary schools throughout Ireland and to provide a forum for the schools within the association. The AIJS has a current membership of close to 40 and runs events, meetings and an online forum, to the benefit of all members.

This Photography Competition is just one such event in which pupils participate.

The theme was Hallowe’en and the judges were Wicklow Photography Society who were very impressed by the high standard. Our girls did particularly well.

In the 1st Class, 2nd Class and 6th Class categories our photographers won the first and second prizes. In the 4th Class and 5th Class categories they won the second prizes.
